Sierra Pacific Region Awards Program

Do you know any interpreters who do amazing work but get very little recognition?

We are pleased to be revitalizing the Sierra Pacific Regional Awards Program! As a member of NAI, you are exposed to outstanding and inspiring programs and professionals. The Sierra Pacific Region hopes to recognize outstanding achievements and showcase the successes of NAI members and others working to advance the profession of interpretation.

The regional program closely parallels the national program for professional awards. The requirements are a little simpler, but hopefully our program will feed applicants into the national program.

At this point the regional program is in draft format. You will find the draft here: Regional Awards. We welcome your comments as we finalize the requirements. You can expect to see a formal call for nominations in November, with the actual awards presented next year at our annual spring workshop!
